A Family Affair

A look inside the heart behind Weltner Interiors. How building a business rooted in family has shaped the brand in the most meaningful way. From shared values to working side by side, it’s a story of how family has elevated every part of what we do.

Family First

Weltner Interiors has always been rooted in family; from my early love of design sparked by my mom’s stack of Architectural Digests, my husband being the one to say 'Hey, why don’t you just start your own business?’,  to building my work schedule around my daughters’, and even designing for my own family’s homes and projects.

Family truly sits at the center of it all.

In the summer of 2024, I took that a step further and hired my cousin, McKenzie Vigdorth, as my Project Manager!  Her background may be in nursing, but her

design eye, love of all things home, and Type A perfectionist personality have made her

the perfect fit. She’s not only invaluable to the day-to-day operation of Weltner Interiors, but working with family has been the absolute best part.

elevate your

everyday living-

with your layout

Before Mckenzie officially joined Weltner Interiors, I had the chance to collaborate on her home. We recently photographed it and you can view the final images here.

Every project begins by refining the layout; furniture, flow, and the architectural backdrop. With my roots in architecture, it’s always one of my favorite phases.

While it’s easy to get caught up in beautifully styled rooms, great design starts with how a space lives; quiet mornings, loud dinners, and everything in between. Those moments all begins with the layout.

living the season :: spring edition

Spring is here, and I have flowers and landscaping on the brain. A trip to Family Tree Nursery to gather plants and style my pots is one of my favorite rituals; equal parts grounding and restorative.

That same love of styling carries into entertaining, where the tablescape is always my favorite part; something I learned from my Mom, the true queen of entertaining!
